Washington, DC – Sen. Kyle Fitzgerald (R-WV) spoke to the press after introducing the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.

"Joe Biden and his Democrat allies in Congress have enacted legislation to restrict the Second Amendment rights of the American people. Instead of adding gun control restrictions, we should be rolling them back and expanding gun rights. That is why I introduced the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. This legislation will allow responsible gun owners with valid concealed carry permits to take those permits into other states and carry concealed weapons with them. Your Second Amendment rights don’t disappear when you cross state lines, and the need to protect yourself and your family from harm doesn’t go away when you travel from state to state. You still have the right to protect your family, your fellow citizens, and yourself from dangerous people."
