Washington, DC – Sen. Kyle Fitzgerald (R-WV) spoke to the press after introducing the Unborn Children's Health Protection Act.

“Towards the end of the senate campaign, I promised West Virginians that my first action as a Senator would be to introduce legislation repealing the radical Democrat abortion bill. Today, I fulfilled that promise by introducing the Unborn Children's Health Protection Act. This bill fully repeals the radical Democrat abortion bill that has prohibited state regulations on abortion clinics and procedures and even allows eugenic abortions.

“On Election Day, the American people rejected the radical Democrat agenda by electing a Republican majority in both the House and Senate. The American people don’t want on-demand and unregulated abortions. They want morality restored to our country, and that’s what I plan to help deliver as a new Senator.”
