Conor James Lamb (born June 27, 1984) is an American lawyer and politician who is the U.S. representative from Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district. The district includes most of the northwestern suburbs of Pittsburgh. A member of the Democratic Party, Lamb was first elected to Congress from the neighboring 18th district in March 2018, in a special election against Republican Rick Saccone that attracted national attention.[2][3][4] After Pennsylvania's congressional map was redrawn by court order, Lamb won a full term in the 17th district in the 2018 general election and won reelection to a second term in 2020.[5] Prior to becoming a member of the U.S. House, Lamb was an assistant U.S. attorney in Pittsburgh.
