All characters seeking to run for one of the Senate seats up in 2016 should file their intentions here. The filing deadline for Senate is Saturday August 3rd, 2019. Note that players are permitted to create a multi for the purpose of running for Senate, but if that candidate wins his or her Senate seat then the player would need to choose only one character to play with and would need to abandon the other to become a NPC.

2016 Election Preview

In the 2016 Senate election cycle we have 8 races being contested by at least one player. The Democrats are defending 2 seats while the Republicans are defending 6. From Illinois to Arkansas, the Republicans will need expert leadership to keep the Senate while also take the White House. The good news for Republicans? They have a 4 seat cushion going into the election. Is this going to be enough? I'm excited to find out. Initial polling is forthcoming.
